Learn More About the Field of Dreams
Unchanged for many years, Dominican University of California's existing athletic field falls far short of the challenges posed by increasingly sophisticated and complex athletic programs, as well as the reasonable expectations of current and prospective students and families.
The new synthetic field will require little or no maintenance and can be used safely year-round. The durability of the materials that have been chosen for the field will give it a lifespan of between 10-12 years under normal use.
Our vision is "years of productive play for better people, a better University, and a better community." Our mission is "to build it." John Caple, well-known author of books on business and leadership and a former Dominican College business professor, is chairing the athletic field campaign. Click here to read John's welome letter.
The estimated cost of the project is $3,250,000. Click here for more information on funding sources. The groundbreaking goal date is spring 2009.
The project completion goal date is summer 2009.
