NPR, Chronicle of Higher Ed feature Dominican research
Research by associate professors of psychology Dr. Afshin Gharib and Dr. William Phillips was featured on National Public Radio’s live news talk program Talk of the Nation, as well as in The Chronicle of Higher Education and the Huffington Post. The research examined what kind of exams work best to test student knowledge, encourage retention, and keep exam-related stress low.
Dr. Gharib and Dr. Phillips talked with NPR host Neal Conan on December 13 about what they learned from their study and what lessons they'll apply in their classrooms next semester. They also answered questions from a nationwide audience of Talk of the Nation listeners.
