Leadership Lecture Series Welcomes Madeleine Albright
Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will offer candid advice to the next president of the United States during a lecture at Dominican on Thursday, January 24 at 7 p.m. in Angelico Concert Hall.
Albright will discuss her new book Memo to the President Elect, in which she offers advice conveyed in the tone of a “confidential memo” and seasoned with humor and stories from her years in power. Albright has served as adviser to two presidents and a key figure in four presidential transitions. In 1997, she was the first woman to become United States Secretary of State.
Albright’s lecture is part of Dominican’s popular Leadership Lecture Series, co-sponsored by the University’s Institute for Leadership Studies and Book Passage. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 415-485-3202 or email ils@dominican.edu.
