Grammy-Nominated Zap Mama To Perform at Dominican University of California
The event is open to students and the general public. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person. Plenty of free parking is available in the Conlan Recreation Center parking lot at the intersection of Grand and Acacia avenues. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
The event will feature a screening of a short documentary film LOVE, LABOR, LOSS which profiles women in Niger living with obstetric fistula - a childbearing injury affecting over 2 million women in the developing world.
