Dominican launches California Governor's Debate website for October 12 event at Angelico Hall
The debate between Democratic candidate Jerry Brown and Republican candidate Meg Whitman will be moderated by NBC News’ Tom Brokaw and televised live on NBC Bay Area, NBC Los Angeles, NBC San Diego, KCRA in Sacramento and KSBW Salinas/Monterey. The debate broadcast begins at 6:30 p.m..
The California Governor's Debate website will provide information about obtaining tickets to the debate. In addition, the site is designed to inform and engage the community through the use of social media, including on Twitter and Facebook.
The site also includes a link where people can sign up to participate in a focus group the night of the debate and information for people, led by Dominican alumni, to register to host debate watch parties across the state.
The debate website was designed by Dominican GreenMBA alum Joey Shepp’s new media agency, Earthsite.
