Why Dominican Students?

Founded in 1890 by the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael, Dominican fosters a reflective attitude combined with social commitment and integrity in our students. With a student-faculty ratio of 11 to 1, Dominican is able to successfully blend the personal direction associated with smaller schools with the academic resources of a larger university. The diverse student body comes from across the United States -- primarily from Northern California -- as well as from twenty-one foreign countries.

Internship Program

Consider taking on a Dominican University intern and allow students to apply classroom theory related to their major in the workplace. Interns receive faculty supervision and academic credit while gaining work experience. Employer responsibilities are minimal. Learn more about the program
