Scholarships and grants are available to freshmen, transfers, international, credential programs, graduate and Pathways students.
Q: When can I apply for scholarships and grants?
Apply for scholarships and grants by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Dominican Aid Application. For details, visit our how to apply page or contact a financial aid counselor.
What is Federal Work Study (FWS)?
FWS is a federally funded program that provides students financial assistance that does not need to be paid back. However, students are not guaranteed a job. Check out our Work Study page for more information.
Q: Can I work off-campus?
Yes, students are able to find FWS job opportunities both on and off-campus.
Q: Where do I pick up/drop off my timesheet?
You can pick up a Student Employee Timesheet outside of Bertrand Hall 101.
Once you and your supervisor have signed your timesheet, drop it off in the box outside of Bertrand Hall 101.
Q: If I have completed FWS, will I receive a W-2 form?
Yes, students who participate in the FWS program will receive a W-2 form for taxes in January.
Q: If I lose the W-2 form, can I get a copy?
Yes, you can access your W-2 form by accessing iPay Statements. Learn more about iPay Statements here.
Q: Are students required to have a healthcare plan?
Yes, all students are required to have a healthcare plan. Dominican offers student plans with Kaiser Permanente.
