From the South
Take Highway 101 North (across the Golden Gate Bridge)
Exit Central San Rafael
Right Turn on 2nd street (first stoplight)
Left Turn on Grand Avenue (1 block)
Proceed on Grand Avenue to the intersection of Grand Avenue and Acacia,  (approximately 8 blocks to the Dominican University campus)
Left turn at acacia into parking lot next to gymnasium.
Soccer field and tennis courts are behind the gymnasium, across the footbridge
Visiting teams should check in with front desk of recreation center

From the North
Take Highway 101 South
Exit Central San Rafael
Left turn on Mission Avenue (first stoplight)
Left on Grand Avenue (two blocks)
Proceed on Grand Avenue for approximately 4 blocks to the Dominican campus and the intersection of Grand Avenue and Acacia.
Left turn at Acacia into parking lot next to gymnasium
Soccer field and tennis courts are behind the gymnasium, across the footbridge

From the East Bay
Take Interstate 580 West toward San Rafael
Cross the Richmond Bridge
Exit Central San Rafael
Right on Second Street (first stoplight)
Left Turn on Grand Avenue (1 block)
Proceed on Grand Avenue to the intersection of Grand Avenue and Acacia  (approximately 8 blocks to the Dominican University campus).
Left turn at acacia into parking lot next to gymnasium.
Soccer field and tennis courts are behind the gymnasium, across the footbridge.

Area Lodging

Dominican University of California is centrally located within Marin County, just 11 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Our location provides easy access to many exciting outdoor experiences, and we are only a 45-minute scenic drive to the wine regions of Napa and Sonoma. Athletic Training

The training room is located in the Conlan Recreation Center.  Our training room is equipped with ice packs, ultrasound, hydrocollator packs, and treatment and taping tables.  It is open at least 1.5-2 hours before each competition or at other times if arranged in advance.

Teams will be provided with the following:
Volleyball: ice packs, bench water, cups, water bottles, towels
Soccer: ice packs, bench water, water bottles
Basketball: ice packs, bench water, cups, water bottles, towels
Tennis: ice packs, water, water bottles.
Towels for showers will not be provided, so please make sure your team plans accordingly.

A certified athletic trainer will be available for all home contests to assist you and your team.  If your team will not be traveling with an athletic trainer, we would be happy to tape them, but please provide all necessary supplies.  Also, if an athlete requires treatment, please send written instructions with them. Emergency equipment is available behind the home bench. There will not be a physician present at the contest, but emergency services will be provided through 911 Emergency Services.  Directions to local hospitals are available upon arrival to Dominican.

University Dining Hall

Visiting teams are welcome to eat in the university's dining hall.  Caleruega serves three meals a day weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends.  Hours and prices for the dining hall are as follows.  Caleruega Hall is located at the corner of Magnolia and Palm Avenues, across the street from the library.

Dinner- $6.00
Brunch- $6.00
Breakfast-  Mon.-Fri, 7:30-9:15am
Lunch 11:30am-1:00pm
