San Rafael, CA - The rain held off for the NAIA Region II  Men's Soccer Playoff between Holy Names University  and Dominican University of California but the Penguins fell short in their bid to advance to Saturday's semi-finals. Dominican coach John Brooks was pleased with his team's effort, citing their undefeated run through the Cal Pac. The Penguins close the season with an 8-8-2 mark.
