The Dominican Penguin Men compete in Soccer, Basketball, Golf and Lacrosse

 

Soccer

The Penguin Soccer team starts practice in mid-August. The team has 18-20 matches during the Fall, usually beginning in late August, and plays their home matches on the multipurpose field in Forest Meadows. There is a full-time Men’s Soccer Coach on staff.

Basketball

The Penguin Basketball team starts practice the first week in October while games begin the second week in November. The team competes in approximately 26-30 games in a season including non-conference games. Usually during the semester break, the men travel to Southern California for non-conference competition. The season runs through February. There is a full-time full time men’s coach on staff.

Golf

Added in Fall 2004, the Penguin Golf team uses various local golf courses for practice and home matches. The season begins in September and runs through May.

Lacrosse

Added in Fall 2004, the Penguin Lacrosse team uses the Forest Meadows Athletic Field for practices and home games. The season begins in January and runs through April. This Spring team faces-off against local Bay Area Universities such as the University of California, Berkeley and San Jose State and other Universities such as the University of California, Los Angeles and Southern Oregon University.
