The inaugural Dominican Spring Classic ran from Saturday April 19th to Monday April 21st and consisted of five events: |

Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony & Dinner 246 attendees celebrated the induction of five former Dominican student-athletes, coaches and supporters. David Moore (Men’s Basketball, Class of ’06), John P. McCarvel (Men’s Soccer, Class of ’06), Jennifer Rogers-Fernandez (Women’s Basketball, Class of ’96), Coach Bill Treseler (Men’s Basketball, 2000 to 2005), and Sister Marion Irvine (Olympic Trials qualifier, Class of ’53). The event was a resounding success and raised $28,795 in cash and $5,995 in gifts in kind in support of Dominican's Field of Dreams capital campaign. |

Golf Tournament 144 players participated in the 20th annual Golf Tournament at the famed Meadow Club in Fairfax, CA. New editions to this year's tournament format included pre-tournament chipping, putting and sand-play skills competitions, a Vegas hole and helicopter ball drop. The event raised $58,304 in cash and $21,500 in gifts in kind in support of Dominican's Annual Fund and Athletic Programs & Facilities. |

Helicopter Ball Drop 150 consecutively numbered golf balls were dropped from a helicopter hovering 200 feet above a mock green on the 10th fairway of the Meadow Club at 5:30pm on Monday April 21st. We are pleased to announce the sponsors of the four balls that came to rest closest to the flag: 1st Prize 85 Nancy Baresh 2nd Prize 71 Larry Hartley 3rd Prize 11 Grant Hellar 4th Prize 58 Suzanne Degen The event raised $15,000 in support of Dominican's Field of Dreams capital campaign. |

Online & Silent Auction 145 donations were auctioned via online and silent auctions. Popular items included Hawaiian and Mexican vacation villas, athletic memorabilia, and assorted entertainment event tickets. The Auctions raised $19.500 in support of Dominican's Annual Fund and Athletic Programs & Facilities. |

Raffle Proceeds from the Spring Classic total $129,754 in cash and $27,495 in gifts in kind for a grant total of $157,249. A big thank you to all the honorees, participants and volunteers who made the Spring Classic a weekend to remember. |
