Construction Status

As of August 1, 2014 With placement of structural steel over the last two months, a milestone has been reached with its near completion in the building. This provides the ability to now install all the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and sprinkler systems.

The front porch has been torn down to make way for a newly framed porch and front stairs.

The east side chimney brick has been taken down, cleaned, and now is being reinstalled, bringing this historic aesthetic feature back into play.
Structural framing and new flooring is complete for The Wicker Room.

Dry wall is being put in place as well as the soffits.

On the West Wing, new windows and insulation are being installed, the Class Shields have been removed, are being re-leaded, and will be re-installed. On the exterior walls, Shingles will be installed throughout the fall.
Painting of the interior walls, placement of the photovoltaic system on the roof, and the elevator will be installed by the end of August.
The front entry way will be on hold until the larger items in the building are installed. Site work will continue after scaffolding comes down.
