QHow do I join the Alumni Association?
A If you graduated from Dominican, you’re automatically a member. There are no dues and as long as you keep your address updated you will receive the TORCH, Penguin Postcards and information about upcoming events.
Q I want information about an alumni event, where can I find details?
A Check the Alumni Events web page, e-mail us at alumni@dominican.edu or call Alumni Relations at 415.485.3240
Q Can you help me reconnect with a fellow alumna/us?
A If you would like to connect with a fellow alumna/us please contact Alumni Relations. We will contact the person you are attempting to reach and ask for permission to share their contact information with you.
Q Why do I need an Alumni Benefits Card?
A With a valid Alumni Benefits Card, Dominican alumni are entitled to certain privileges on campus. You can audit classes, receive discounted membership at the Conlan Recreational Center, borrowing privileges at the Alemany Library and access to Career Services. Register for your card here.
Q How do I order copies of my transcripts?
A The Registrar’s office handles all requests for academic records. They have authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. Your transcript order will be transmitted electronically to Dominican University of California and will be processed within 5 – 10 business days by the Registrar’s Office. Order a transcript.
Q How can I buy alumni merchandise?
A You can visit the Dominican Bookstore for all of your needs either on campus, online or call 415.485.3213.
Q How do I make a donation to Dominican?
A You may make a gift using our secure server at dominican.edu/giving.
Q I’ve moved or changed jobs. How do I update my address or provide information for the Class Notes section of the TORCH?
A We’d love to hear from you. Update your information through our secure site, by e-mail, alumni@dominican.edu, or by calling us at 415.485.3240.
Q Can I keep my Dominican student email address after graduation?
A No, your student email address will be de-activated during the summer following your graduation from Dominican. You can however sign up for an alumni email address by emailing alumni@dominican.edu and requesting a new account.
