Welcome Dominican Alumni and Alumnae!
I am pleased and honored to accept the privilege of serving as our Alumni Board president. It is with both a sense of pride and humility that I approach this opportunity. There have been many strong and admirable people who have preceded me who have paved the way for us. I am committed to build on this foundation and make a difference in this role.
Our rich heritage built upon the Dominican ideals of Study, Community, Service, and Reflection has made Dominican University a leader in education. Our alumni are respected entrepreneurs, musicians, teachers, and nurses who are leaders in their fields as well as their communities. Our current students strive to follow in our footsteps. Please partner with us as we strive to make Dominican a place that that they will hold fondly as we do.
The board is looking forward to a bright future for Dominican University and its alumni. We have outstanding university leadership, students, faculty and staff, and especially alumni. President Marcy has a vision and strategic plan in place that will guide Dominican and the work of the board.
I am lucky to be working with a talented and dedicated board. I believe in working together. You can count on an all-out team effort from this current group of board members. We will work hard for you but we cannot do it alone. We need you. I intend to communicate often and yes I will ask you to be involved and engaged.

This is your alumni association we want to make sure that it meets your needs. I am looking forward to welcoming you personally to Dominican event in San Rafael and elsewhere.
