Instead of getting food, Mary and I decided to take our friend Kristyn out to Marin Headlands to go hiking. The weather was warm and sunny, but also pretty windy (Mary can tell you more about that). We went to Marin Headlands and saw the lighthouse; the old military bunkers and we took some pretty cool pictures of the views that our hike allowed us to see. Overall it was a great hiking trip, the best part is that Marin Headlands is less than a 20-minute drive from Dominican, which means that we didn’t need to spend anything to enjoy this awesome day. Mary and I highly recommend going to Marin Headlands whenever you have a few hours to enjoy the weather and get some fresh air. We’re pretty lucky that Dominican is so close to not only San Francisco, but also to great national parks like Marin Headlands. If you ever want to go hiking just ask Mary or myself and we’d be more than happy to go back again (if it isn’t too windy, right Mary?).
