Hey! I am from Pomona which is located in sunny Southern California! I'm a sophomore at Dominican with a major in Liberal Studies. I LOVE to play soccer (Go Lady Penguins) and be involved in many organizations. I am a Community Representative of our student government and the Vice President of the Black Student Union. Overall, i like hanging out with my friends, spending time with family, boxing on the WIIsports, sleeping in on weekends, reading romance novels, shopping along with matching every outfit and just having fun! So far I LOVE DOMINICAN & would not want to be at any other university.

Back to my Nor Cal home!
- Leighia-Sunday, October 12th,2008- This is my first blog ever and first year as an Ambassador, so I am so excited to write this bog and share my life at DU with you. Summer in SoCal was much needed and enjoyable. I had many trips, but eventually it was over and school began. Soccer, 17 units, Student- Teaching, ASDU, BSU, Ambassadors,along, with studying,shopping, and parties is what my life consist of. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do! So I am back to my Nor Cal home ( Dominican)!
