Last Blog of the Summer!
David - Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - This will be my last blog for the summer! I completed my summer classes and I am very impressed the grade outcome! A's in both classes! I have to be honest, my classes were amazing! I wouldn't have traded anything for the professors I had.
They were so knowledgeable and very passionate about their respected subjects! I know if they were teaching at Dominican, students would be signing up just to have them. AMAZING!
ASDU is starting to get hectic. As the school year is about to begin, we have last minute planning to do before our lives start to become preoccupied with other obligations. Thus far, we have most of our activities planned but we do need to make a little adjustment to the number of socials thrown each month. As for being President, I am a little nervous about finding spare time for leisure activities as I have meetings at least twice a week along with classes, ASDU, and work...Oh I hope I will find some DAVID time during the semester!
I am very excited to meet the new Freshmen class! It's always a rush to see everyone move into their new dorms and meeting new community members. I love when Freshmen enter the community because they are so excited and energetic to come out to ASDU activities! I hope this year incoming class are as great as least year's class! I am sure they will be!
Now for the most important topic! I turn 21 on August 15th! I am very excited! Unfortunately, I am not doing the traditional Las Vegas trip as it is very HOT in Nevada during this time of year rather, I am going to spend it here in beautiful San Diego at venue were everyone can meet: David and Buster's! I've never been there before but I am quite certain it will be fun! And even if it's not what I expect it to be, my friends back at DU are already planning some social gatherings! Can't wait!
