Teacher Credential Programs

MS in Education and Teaching CredentialDominican’s highly successful teacher education program is recognized for its comprehensive and innovative training, small classes, individualized attention and a supportive learning community.

Dominican University of California is approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to prepare and recommend candidates for their teaching credentials.

At our two locations in San Rafael and Ukiah, we offer the following teacher credential programs

  • Multiple Subject
  • Single Subject
  • Education Specialist: Level I
  • Education Specialist: Professional Level II Mild/Moderate (San Rafael Only)
  • Dual Credential: Multiple or Single Subject/Education Specialist: Level I
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders Added Authorization Program

Program Highlights

Credential Programs fully meet current California state credentialing requirements related to technology, working effectively with English learners and students with special needs.  All programs culminate in a MS in Education degree with the completion of additional units.
