MSN, Geriatric CNS/Nurse Educator
The program provides advanced practice skills and theoretical foundations to provide health care and health guidance for the geriatric client. Graduates will fill two critical roles in healthcare, that of the nursing instructor/nursing faculty, and the nurse who specializes in care of the fastest growing US cohort - the elderly. Courses weave theory and practice in geriatric nursing and nurse education and incorporate knowledge and skills in both clinical and didactic environments. Additional Requirements Specific to the MSN program:
In addition to the standard graduate admissons requirements, please provide the following:1.Photocopy of current California RN license.
2..Courses in both statistics and research with a grade of "B" or better, within the past 5 years, or proof of mastery.
