Pathways
Financial aid for Pathways students is more available and easier to obtain than ever. Besides federal grants and student loans, Pathways students may also qualify for Dominican aid:
Pathways Scholarships are available based on financial need, enrollment status, and location of your program. You must apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, The Dominican Aid Application, and any other documents that may be requested. Although the deadline for applying is rolling, Dominican strongly recommends applying at least 4 to 6 weeks before your program or semester start.
The ALANA Scholarship (African American, Latino, Asian American, and Native American) is a prestigious award for traditionally under-represented students of color in higher education. Each year, five scholarships of $1000 are given to entering Pathways students who have demonstrated a commitment to improving their community, school, or work environment, and who demonstrate academic excellence with an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 in transferable college course work completed within the last three years. Potentially qualified candidates may apply through the Office of Admission.
