In the Adult Degree Completion Program (formerly know as Pathways), students pursue a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, English, Humanities, Management or Psychology. In addition to completing coursework, many adult students earn college credit by demonstrating learning that occurred as the result of a prior life or work experience.
Conveniently located on the HWY 101 corridor in San Rafael, the Adult Degree Completion Program is an ideal choice for busy adults living or working in Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco and the East Bay.

The ADC program is ideal for adult students who want the flexibility to begin and/or complete their undergraduate degrees at their own pace. Students can attend full or part-time and can begin the program with any number of units, even zero. Courses are scheduled on weekday evenings, after 6pm. Majors include English, English with a Writing Emphasis, Humanities, Psychology, and Management.
Business Administration Major Format
The Business Administration major is designed for adult students who have already completed 50 or more transferable units, are able to commit to a year-round schedule, and enjoy the structure of a set schedule. A maximum group of 25 students form a learning community (called a cohort) begin and complete their major-specific coursework together over eight terms.
Business Administration courses are scheduled one evening a week for four hours with supplemental online instruction. Students who have not fulfilled necessary GE or elective requirements may need to take additional courses not included in the Business Administration schedule in order to complete graduation requirements.
The decision to return to school to complete an undergraduate degree as an adult is a life-changing one. Dominican offers a variety of support services to help adult students achieve success while managing busy lives including tutoring, personal counseling, and career services. Knowledgeable academic advisors prepare personal pre-enrollment degree plans prior to the start of the program and remain available throughout the college experience.
