First Year Students
Effective Fall 2009
Admitted full-time undergraduate day first year students are automatically considered for a renewable merit scholarship. Normally, you will be notified at the time of admission of any Dominican academic merit scholarship eligibility. A separate application is not required.
First-year student scholarships are renewable for a three additional academic years after the first year (maximum eligibility of 8 semesters total). Renewal criteria include full-time enrollment (12-17 units per semester) and maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average as specified in your original scholarship letter.
The following renewable scholarships are also available:
Music Scholarship
- Limited partial tuition scholarships
- Must be a music major at Dominican
- Audition required
Coaches Award
- Limited partial tuition scholarships
- Please contact coach for more information
Scholar in the World Award
- Limited competitive awards
- Must be admitted to honors program
- $2,000 per year
