Membership Requirements
Students are invited into the Honors Program based on SAT or ACT scores (usually combined SAT score of 1150 and ACT score of 26), high school GPA of 3.50 or higher, the Honors Program application essay, and Honors or AP courses taken at high school
(helpful but not required).
Following their first semester at Dominican, students with a 3.50 GPA who are not enrolled in the program will receive invitations to participate. Highly motivated transfer students, with a 3.50 cumulative GPA including transfer work, are also admitted into the Honors Program.
Students must maintain a minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA (including transfer courses) to remain active in the program and a 3.50 GPA to graduate as an Honors Program Scholar.
