Service-Learning Symposia

Service-Learning Symposia
Service-Learning Symposia are held at the end of each semester in the Creekside Room.
These events showcase the students’ Service Learning projects in the community. Students representing a variety of courses across the disciplines highlight the ways in which service learning is a reciprocal endeavor between campus and the community and the ways in which it is content rich and personally transformative.
The clips on this page are from the Spring 2006 Symposium. Colleen Shorey, a politics major, shares her experience working at Marin Aids Project and Megan Holiday, a humanities major, talks about working at Halleck Creek Riding Club for the Disabled.
