Course Code Prefixes

Most academic programs have a corresponding Course Code prefix. For example, Art courses begin with 'ART', and Psychology courses begin with 'PSY'. You can use these prefixes to search for all courses in a given program on the self-service website.

How to List Courses by Program on the Self-Service Website

  1. Browse to the Self-Service Section Search page at https://selfservice.dominican.edu/selfservice/Search/SectionSearch.aspx
  2. Enter a Course Code Prefix in the "Course Code" field. (See below for Course Code Prefixes.)
  3. Click the "Search" button.
  4. All Course Sections with the Course Code Prefix that you entered will be listed on the results page.
