Library Toolbar for Firefox & IE
The Library has its own toolbar that has been updated to work with Firefox.3 and Internet Explorer. Toolbars allow you to customize your browser in order to increase its functionality.
The Library's toolbar, originally developed by Virginia Tech as LibXallows you to:
- Search the Library's catalog and eJournals from your browser without actually having to be on the Library's website
- Enter keywords, title, author, subject, or call numbers directly into the toolbar's search box
- Search Google Scholar using the "Magic Button"
- Select and right-click terms on any web page to search the catalog, eJournals, or Google Scholar
- Select and drag-and-drop terms into the search box or the Google Scholar "Magic Button"
