Out & About: Flowering Filoli

Departs: 8:45am from San Rafael, 9am from Mill Valley
Returns: 4:15pm to Mill Valley, 4:30pm to San Rafael
Be whisked away by private coach to one of the finest remaining country estates of the early 20th century. Filoli is a site recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Join in a private guided walking tour of this Georgian country house and spectacular 16-acre English Renaissance garden, followed by a lovely afternoon high tea (sandwiches, scones and pastries included!) in this gracious ambiance.

Board a private coach for a unique and delightfully cheesy adventure that begins with a visit and tasting at a specialist of artisan-crafted Brie, Camembert, Triple Crèmes and more. Continue on to a private, educational walking farm tour to learn about its history, sustainability, and the making of local farmstead cheese. After a private presentation and cheese tasting, relax over a private buffet lunch. On the return, visit another creamery to taste an array of cheeses including fresh, soft-ripened, and washed-rind.
