Sudden Oak Death Free Public Meeting (SOD Blitz Program):

- Where: Dominican University of California in San Rafael - Science Center Room #102
- Details: The public is invited to participate in a FREE training session on how to identify Sudden Oak Death (SOD) symptoms and collect samples for testing. The session will be led by Dr. Matteo Garbelotto, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at the University of California Berkeley, in association with the National Ornamentals Research Site at Dominican University (NORS-DUC). Dr. Garbelotto will train participants to identify SOD symptoms; explain the details of the sampling/collection process; and distribute necessary collection materials to participants.
