MESA Advisors

Welcome advisors! We look forward to working with you this year as you help your students excel in math and science and encourage them to become eligible for the most competitive colleges and universities.

We are ready to kick start our first year of MESA with exciting activities and lessons. We are looking forward to providing MESA students with some fun projects and trips this year. Activities will include:

• MESA Projects: You will help students to complete hands-on MESA projects such as mousetrap cars, bridges, balsa wood gliders, and science models.
• Parent Development: Parent information meeting will be held to help parents become effective advocates for their child's academic success.
• College and Career Exploration: Students come together on Dominican’s campus to interact with faculty, staff, and college mentors. Additionally, they learn about college life and tackle hands-on science and engineering activities.

• MESA Day Competitions: Preliminary MESA Day will be at Dominican on March 19th, and top finishers will get to travel to Sonoma State for the Regional competition in April!
