"My training at Dominican and my two Level II fieldwork experiences prepared me well as an occupational therapist.  I  now have a strong body of knowledge, and feel I am ready to succeed as an occupational therapist.  Starting my career here at St. Mary's Hospital is a great place for me, and I very happy with my position."  Brian Bonham, MS OTR/L

"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only being a major contributor to my education, but for also being a professional reference for me.  With your reference, I was accepted into the post-professional doctoral program at Creighton University.  I am excited for this opportunity and will keep you updated periodically."  Kelly Stovall, MS,OTR/L

"I have been traveling since I graduated. So far I have worked in AZ, NC, FL, CA and now I am in sunny Hawaii and loving it so much I am staying another term. Traveling has given me the opportunity to work in almost every setting and use the skills I only read about in the classroom!"  Jayme Agbayani, MS, OTR/L

"I spent a wonderful 4 years at Dominican and learned a tremendous amount from the program.   Recently I had the pleasure of working with a male in his early 30's who had suffered a spinal cord injury at work.  When he was admitted he was a total/dependent assist ,but after 4 four months, he was able to walk out of the hospital without any physical assist , using a walker and is able to perform all ADLs at a supervised level.  This story always will remind me why I go to work each and every day and why I love what I do.  I cannot say enough about the Dominican OT program that is why I have referred many people to the program."   Nicole Gillard Stephens, MS, OTR/L 2004

"I have been working as an OT for almost five years working in LA at Encino-Tarzana Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center in acute and acute rehab; and I'm currently working at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego in the acute, acute rehab, and outpatient for the last 2 years.  Words cannot express my gratitude to my professors/mentors at Dominican OT program. I love waking up every morning to go to work! There is always something new I see everyday, and this career definitely beats a desk job any day!"  Dean Aclan, MS, OTR/L
