Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program (35 units)
Students may enter the full-time program in mid-August only. Students may enter the part-time program in the summer, fall or spring semesters. University classes are held in the evening or late afternoon. Field work in the schools takes place during the day. Coursework listed is for the student teaching model though an intern option is available.

for Multiple or Single Subject Teacher Credential Holder Program (20 units)
Candidates who already hold a multiple or single subjects teaching credential may add an Education Specialist: Level I Mild/Moderate credential. Students are encouraged to begin by enrolling in the fall intensive course in late July. The program typically takes two semesters to complete.

This program is offered to holders of a valid Education Specialist: Preliminary Level I Mild/ Moderate teaching credential. All courses are offered in the late afternoon to accommodate the work schedules of teachers.

Master of Science in Education: Curriculum & Instruction or Special Education (15 Units)
For those graduates of Dominican’s credential programs, there are 15 additional units required to complete a master’s degree. These courses are designed for working educators.
