Child & Adolescent Development

This comprehensive course provides participants with an overview of the major concepts, principles, theories and research related to the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional and physical development of children and adolescents. Participants learn the fundamentals of how children and adolescents learn and develop, and discover classroom strategies and techniques for affecting positive behavior.

EDUX 9102 Child & Adolescent Development (2 units)

Prerequisite for all candidates entering a multiple subject, single subject or special education credential program.
