Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders: Effective Instructional Practices for the General Education Teacher
The faculty in the School of Education and Counseling Psychology at Dominican University of California is pleased to offer a one-day training for general education teachers. The class is intended to provide general education teachers with instructional strategies and supports in social communication, emotional regulation, daily scheduling, classroom design, and sensory processing. The intention of the training is to give teacher’s materials and supports, which can be used, immediately in the classroom.
