Dominican University of California's MBA program is an engaged learning community that seeks to promote financial viability, ecological sustainability, and innovation in business and organizations of all types. Our collaborative, project-oriented approach integrates the development of entrepreneurial business skills with critical thinking and leadership capacities. Students graduate with practical skills and experience, prepared to innovate, communicate, and lead effectively in business both nationally and internationally.
Our students engage with business leaders internationally when they embark on their Global Consulting Practicum. Student teams serve as consultants to overseas firms performing global business projects for clients in various countries. Students will be tasked with using their breadth of skills and entrepreneurial knowledge, examined and practiced in the MBA program, as they approach projects.
The Global Consulting Practicum concludes with a 10-day international study trip to meet with their clients. Through the planning and completion of the consulting projects, students strengthen their knowledge and insights related to the social, socio-cultural, political, economic, technological, environmental and legal factors that impact achieving competitive advantage and doing business in international markets. The multiple projects will relate to the MBA concentrations in global business, strategic leadership or sustainable enterprise.
