Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college and university students of government in the United States. At present, there are 621 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters on campuses across the country. Pi Sigma Alpha is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies.

pi sigma alpha logo.jpgThe Dominican University of California Alpha Delta Omicron Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha was established under the leadership of Ms. Elizabeth Williamson in fall 2006 with 9 initiates. 

Applicants must be at least juniors who have completed a minimum of ten semester-credits of coursework in political science, including at least one upper-division course, with a B average in those courses.  Applicants must also have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

There is a one-time initiation fee of $40, and no annual dues.
