Internships for the Arts

The Art Department offers a wide range of internship opportunities for students that prepare them for careers in the fine arts, the commercial arts, arts management, art education, and art services. All students are required to participate in an internship program for at least one semester and are encouraged to participate in multiple internships during their time at Dominican. In addition, students  take upper division seminars that focus on the development of a career plan as well as the tools for self promotion.  During their senior year, students present their professional portfolio through an art exhibition, an oral presentation, and a written thesis.
