All applicants must meet both the requirements for Alonzo King LINES Ballet and the requirements for Dominican University of California. These requirements include an audition as well as an academic application.
The appropriate materials should be sent to Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Dominican University of California separately. It is not necessary to wait for confirmation on the academic application before submitting the dance application.
We recommend that all academic application materials be submitted by January 1. All auditions must be completed by March 1.
We do accept sophomore and junior transfer students. Since we strongly prefer that BFA Program graduates spend a minimum of two years in our program, we generally do not accept transfers into the senior class. If you are interested in transferring, we recommend that you email the Program Director. In your email please describe your dance/college history, and attach a transcript if possible.
