Thank you for your interest in Tuxedo Online Magazine. Tuxedo is published twice a year by Student Editors at Dominican University of California. As members of a class, these students practice editing, marketing, and publishing this cool magazine for university credit.
Who Can Submit: Students, alumni, faculty and staff of Dominican University of California all are welcome to submit work for consideration to Tuxedo.
Deadlines: Eligible artists and writers may submit work at any time; our seasonal deadlines occur in mid October and mid March; work received between deadlines (including over the summer) is held until our next reading period.
Submission Format: Submit work by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Send your work as a word, RTF or .jpeg attachment and include your name, phone number, a brief biography (1-2 sentences), as well as your affiliation with Dominican (student, alumni, staff, faculty).
Written work: submit in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format, single spaced
Scannable art: submit in JPEG format or contact the editors for scanning assistance (scanning is available at most print and copier shops)
Notification of Publication (Did I Make It In?) We will let you know by the end of the semester, hopefully soon enough for those who are published to join us at our reading party in December or May. No work is read in the summer months.
