The Humanities Department sponsors and/or co-sponsors a wide range of events for students and the general public throughout the year. Our Cultural Expressions Program and Building Bridges of Understanding Series host a number of fascinating, fun, and educational cross-cultural events.

3rd Annual Joint Student and Alumni Symposium for Graduate Liberal Studies and Humanities Students at Stanford -- June 26-28, 2009
Dominican Graduate Humanities Students will present their research at the 3rd Annual Joint Student and Alumni Symposium at Stanford University with participants from ten colleges and universities in the western region of the United States, including: Dominican University of California, Maastricht University, Marylhurst University, Reed College, San Diego State University, Simon Fraser University, Stanford University, St. Mary's College, Oklahoma University, University of Southern California
