Pathways—Evening Undergraduate MajorGraduate ProgramCapstone ProjectsAll students in the Humanities and Cultural Studies major complete a capstone project. From traditional research papers to creative projects, capstone projects enhance the development of core skills for master's level work in various disciplines as well as diverse careers in the arts and humanities and beyond. Our faculty support a wide range of student research interests. Look here for a list of some of the culminating capstone research projects our students have completed. Engaged LearningThe Humanities Department encourages all students to pursue engaged learning opportunities, which expand academics beyond the classroom. In fact, all Humanities and Cultural Studies students are required to do an internship or take a service learning course. Additionally, study abroad and field trips can be integrated into a student's program of study. Advisors work closely with students to apply these experiences toward major, minor, and/or elective requirements, as appropriate. |
