What is the TLC?
The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) is an academic resource for all Dominican students. It houses eight computers and a printer, four tutoring carrels, and a conference area for group tutoring. Many helpful resources are available in the TLC, such as the Academic Skills Resource Manual. 
What can I do at the TLC?
- Request a tutor

- Attend an academic excellence workshop
- Check out instructional books or videos
- Obtain free math, writing, and reading handouts (and more)

What are the TLC's hours?
M, 9:00 - 6:00; Tu - Th, 9:00 - 9:00; F, 9:00 - 5:00 (except once a month during CLEP testing) ; and by appointment.
How can I sign up for a tutor?
Fill out an orange Tutor Request form (located in Bertrand 109/110) and leave it on Chrisa Hotchkiss's desk in the TLC (or call her 415/257-0153).
