Placement Testing

For all incoming students, to place you in the classes that will contribute to success in your studies here at Dominican, the Academic Advising and Achievement Center administers placement tests in English, Math, and Chemistry.

Testing

You may not be able to register for classes until you have taken your placement tests.

All tests except Chemistry are administered in a computer-based format. For information about the tests and to access downloadable forms (pdfs), please click the appropriate links on the left.

If you are unable to take your placement tests at Dominican, access information about testing off campus.

If you have a documented disability and need accommodations for testing, contact Todd Herriott at todd.herriott@dominican.edu, 415-257-0187, or TTY: 415-482-1975.
