Pathways
Fulfill your goal of earning a college degree.
Dominican's Pathways Program offers students the opportunity to begin or complete an undergraduate degree while continuing to meet career and family responsibilities. Our programs and support services embrace the rich life experiences of adults returning to the classroom.
Pathways courses meet in the evening once a week for two hours or on the weekend. Evening classes are offered Monday through Thursday, allowing students to take a full-time course load in just two nights a week if they choose. Students who have the flexibility to take day courses also have access to a broad range of day majors and interdisciplinary options. Summer session classes are also offered for those who want to fast track their progress to a degree.
Pathways recognizes the adult learner's depth of experience, heightened motivation to learn, and commitment to responsibilities outside the classroom. Degree programs are interdisciplinary, multicultural, and global in focus and facilitate adult learners in the continued exploration of their intellectual, spiritual, ethical, and social values. The curriculum integrates theory and practice, is outcome-based and incorporates experiential, interactive and collaborative learning components. Programs emphasize the development and refinement of conceptual and practical skills for career and life planning.
Admission to the Pathways evening/weekend program requires a minimum of six years post-high school work and/or life experience. To apply, click here.
