Asma Asyyed PhD.
Dr. Asma Asyyed is a member of the Dominican Science Faculty. She teaches Human anatomy and physiology in addition to a Biology Research Methodology class. Her teaching interests include human anatomy, histology, physiology and clinical diseases.
Brian Cable, MD
Brian Cable is a surgeon at Marin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. HIs post-graduate education includes an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Hand Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Cable is a member of several boards and organizations including the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Barbara Kalmanson, PhD
Dr. Kalmanson has over 30 years of experience working with schools, children and their families. She is a founder of the Oak Hill School in Marin City, Califonia. Dr. Kalmanson has extensive experience as a clinical psychologist, a pecial educator, and as an infant mental health consultant, and in private practice in San Francisco and Marin County. She's served on multiple boards of directors including the Mayor's Advisory Board on Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health in San Francisco, CA. Her many publications focus on diagnosis and treatment of autistic spectrum disorders, afective development, relationship-based intervention and the importance of family-provider relationships.
Julio Lacayo
Julio Lacayo is part of the Community Outreach Senior Ombudsman Program, Driver Safety Branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Karen Pittbladdo
Karen Pittbladdo is part of the Dominican OT Faculty and Senior Occupational Therapist in a variety of health care facilities. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience to Dominican University of California. Her varied clinical experiences include acute and outpatient rehabilitation at Stanford Hospital (CA); and Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston). Ms. Pitbladdo has also helped develop a work re-entry program at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester (NY). She has been a certified Hand Therapist for nearly 10 years. Ms. Pitbladdo teaches Human Movement Analysis, OT Management, and Introduction to OT.
Karen Smith
Karen Smith is OTR/L and Certified Driving Rehab specialist, has considerable experience in neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation and has been providing comprehensive driving evaluations since 1994.
