Membership Fees and Course Registration

OLLI Membership Types

OLLI at Dominican is a membership driven community of adult learners.  Anyone 50 years of age or older may join OLLI.  There are three levels of membership:

Basic Annual Membership: After paying the Basic Annual Membership Fee of $30, basic members may then enroll in OLLI courses by paying the individual course fees.  

Session Membership:  After paying the Session Membership Fee, members may register for up to four courses in either Winter Session I or Winter Session II.  The cost for courses in excess of four is charged at 25 percent off the regular rate.

Premium Annual Membership: After paying the Premium Annual Membership Fee, members may register for up to four courses per session during Winter I, Winter II, and Spring 2012 without paying additional course fees (Summer 2012 is not included).  The cost of courses in excess of four in one session is 25 percent off the regular course fee.

Benefits of Premium Annual Membership

  • Register for up to four courses during Winter I, Winter II, and Spring 2012 (Summer 2012 not included.)  The cost for courses in excess of four in one session is 25 percent off the regular course fee;
  • Priority registration until December 13, 2011 and priority on the wait list of full classes;
  • Visit an unlimited number of courses during the first week of the session and make changes, if any, during the second week of the session (based on space availability);
  • Discounts to many cultural and educational events on campus, open to the public for a fee;
  • Reserved seating at designated lectures that are open to the public, including the Leadership Lecture Series
  • Discounted membership in Conlan Center (check with front desk at 415-482-3500 for current rates).
     

Fees                                                               

Basic Annual Membership Fee: $30 

Course Fees: 6 week fall courses - $115

Single Session Membership Fee: $265 

Premium Annual Membership Fees:$525

Registration

Winter 2012 registration begins on December 7, 2011 for Premium Annual Members and December 14, 2011 for Basic and Session Members. Early registration is recommended. All members must register by the first day of the course(s). Registration can be done by mail or phone.  To register by phone with a credit card please call (415) 458-3763.

Discounts

Dominican University faculty, staff, alumni and residents of our partner locations may be eligible for discounts. 

Refund Policy

Members are eligible for a refund of all fees minus an administrative fee of $30 if the request is received one week before the first class of the session.  

Fee Assistance Programs

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, please send a personal letter with contact information explaining your situation and course choices by December 21, 2011.  If you are selected for a full or partial scholarship, you may pay only an administrative fee of $30.
