I am glad that you are considering joining us in transforming Dominican into one of California's premier private universities. It has been my pleasure to support and guide the institution through one of the most exciting periods of its 116-year history. Dominican truly is one of the North Bay's economic and social cornerstones, and as such, it is a crucible for forming the area's future. Wouldn't you like to be an integral part of that?

U.S. News and World Report ranks Dominican in the top tier of "Western Universities--Master's." It is already among the very best in retention and graduation rate, class size, and peer assessment. It is improving fast in other categories, such as alumni giving and community support. But to reach the top, we need your help. Please consider the far-reaching impact that your involvement in the University will have.

As a President's Council member, you will become well acquainted with the numerous programs and services available to you as a community member. The Institute for Leadership Studies provides a comprehensive array of leadership education and services. The leadership and science lecture series attract well-known speakers and regularly fill Dominican's auditorium. The concert series is a weekend highlight for many neighborhood residents. I want you to join me in taking advantage of the rich life on campus. Come see what all of the excitement is about!
