Field of Dreams

Unchanged for many years, Dominican University of California's existing athletic field falls short of the challenges posed by increasingly sophisticated and complex athletic programs, as well as the reasonable expectations of current and prospective students and families.

The University is proposing the funding, construction, and ongoing maintenance of a new synthetic turf athletic field that will position Dominican to meet the requirements for admission to the Pac West Conference of NCAA II in Fall 2009.

The Field of Dreams will include an artificial grass softball field, a multi-use artificial grass field carrying lines and markings for soccer and lacrosse, inlaid lines and markings for two synthetic turf volleyball courts, and a 90-space parking lot.
