Consider Dominican for your next special event. The tranquil campus covers 80 wooded acres in a quiet residential neighborhood in San Rafael, yet it is only twenty minutes to San Francisco and the East Bay. Our unique venues meet all of your special events needs, from small workshops, seminars, and intimate retreats to large conferences, musical concerts, banquets and dream weddings.

The encircling hills can be viewed from almost everywhere and provide a welcoming atmosphere that encourages both tranquil thought and stimulating exchange of ideas. Our facilities offer flexibility and accommodate 50-500 participants and free parking is available. In the summer, overnight accommodations are available along with venue rentals at summer conference rates

Venue rental is based on an 8 hour maximum.

Available only during the summer and winter breaks

Capacity: 225 - 300 people

Room Size: 135 x 52 feet

Rental Fee: $3,000/day

 


Food Service/Catering

All food service needs must be provided through our contracted on-site caterers, Bon Appétit. Meals are served at Caleruega Hall. For coffee/tea service, refreshment breaks, special meals, please contact the Catering Manager at 415-458-3773, or e-mail catering@dominican.edu.

 

Audio/Visual Needs

Special equipment needs beyond those available through Dominican University of California may be rented through a contracted audio visual company. This company is familiar with all Dominican facilities, please contact the Events Management office for further details.

 

Fees & Deposit

Half of the rental fee is the non-refundable deposit required to secure your date. The event balance is due 30 days prior to the event.
