Academic Regalia Rental Information

Academic regalia may be rented through the Office of Academic Affairs at your expense.

Regalia orders are due by August 15 for Convocation in September.

Important Information:  Faculty renting regalia for both the Convocation and Shield Day may keep the regalia for both events and return them after Shield Day. There will be only one rental fee for these two events.

The rental fee for hood, cap and gown is approximately $35.

Late orders will incur a late fee and increased costs for shipping.

After the events the regalia must be returned to the Academic Affairs Office within one week.

• You will be notified when the regalia have arrived (a few days before the event). Please arrange to pick it up as soon as possible. You may want to iron or hang to eliminate wrinkling from shipment.
• Payment should be made at time of pickup.  Checks may be made payable to Dominican University of California.
• Please return the regalia as soon as possible immediately following final use.

Costs: Complete regalia rental is approximately $38, hood only is approximately $12.
