Adjunct Faculty, English

Dominican is seeking an experienced Linguistics instructor to teach one course in Fall 2014.

Responsibilities

  • Teach three unit course at Undergraduate level
  • Evaluate and grade student work and provide feedback to students
  • Mentor and advise students on the progress of their projects and coursework
  • Uphold academic performance standards and integrity

Course Descriptions

  • Course Title - ENGL 3001 Linguistics: Introduction to Linguistics: the scientific inquiry into human language, its structures and uses and the relationship between them, as well as into the development and acquisition of language.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree required, PhD preferred
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level
